  8. Well my former rabbi, Rabbi Julie Schoenfeld said that we are put here on this earth to be good to each other not to get all we can. If the cities were not so crowded then we wouldn't have a need for subways, supermarkets and all the other cool conveniences in life. If you look at the bigger picture then things begin to make sense. When people are mean and selfish to you then you can turn that around to how you want to treat the next person. Totally opposite. If you take yourself out of the equation and see things for what they are then your sadness will become small.
