What are the best methods to learning how to speak, read, and write the japanese language?

Oh my gosh, Japanese is awesome! What a cool language!

Private lessons are the way to go if you really wont to learn quickly. Normal group classes are slower because the teacher can't focus on everybody and correct them all, but in private lessons, the teacher/tutor is right there to help you pronounce and spell a word. Books aren't that great because who is going to correct you if you make a mistake?
