  1. Blood Pressure Control ™

A breakthrough supplement that contains C-12 Peptide; a unique, all-natural & clinically proven ingredient.

Twinlab’s Blood Pressure Control™ is the first supplement in the U.S. market to contain the clinically proven, standardized C-12 Peptide ingredient.

C-12 Peptide is a natural, milk-protein (casein) derived from bovine milk that may offer additional support for your body. Recent clinical research indicates that C-12 Peptide helps manage the Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) process by reducing the conversion of Angiotensin I to Angiotensin II. This helps to inhibit the release of Angiotensin II.1, 2

Is C-12 Peptide, as Contained within Blood Pressure Control, Safe and Effective?

The results of clinical studies on the health benefits of C-12 Peptide also revealed that this milk peptide does not accumulate in the body or loose its effectiveness over time, nor does it disrupt the body’s metabolism or produce undesirable side effects.

When Can You Expect to See Results?

Generally effects can be seen in as little as 2-4 weeks; however 6-8 weeks will yield the best results.

Celery Seed Extract is often an important companion to Anti-ACE Peptides. It contains a substance - 3-n-butylphthalide (3nB) - that can also lower blood pressure. In animals, a very small amount of 3nB lowered blood pressure by 12 to 14%.5 3nB appears to help lower blood pressure by both acting as a diuretic and vasodilator n a similar manner to drugs known as calcium-channel blockers. The dosage for Celery Seed Extract is based upon the level of 3nB. For the extract standardized to contain 85% 3nB the dosage is 150 mg daily.

Garlic and onions are also important foods for lowering blood pressure. In addition, taking a garlic supplement that delivers at least 4,000 mcg of allicin daily may also be of benefit.6

  2. Well, actually the specific peptides from some of those would be more beneficial than just drinking milk or whatnot.

For example, the C12 Peptide is in a milk protein casein and has a very big benefit for inhibiting the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). Also, Bonito Peptide (from Bonito fish) have very good benefits for inhibiting the enzyme.
