What are the best nightclubs in Rio de Janeiro??

I'm looking for the best places to go out at night. Any tips?

The best place in Rio is called Rio Scenarium. Also Circo Voador and Estrela da Lapa, all located in Lapa.

When I visited Rio I went to a couple clubs out there that were nice. Try Baronetti, Mariuzzin Centro and Katmandu. Katmandu was a really young crowd but I liked the music. I know alot of men go to Club Help because it is where a lot of women are but those women are looking to get paid (if you know what I mean):)

it´s a carioca giving you a piece of advice: Don´t come to Rio, or you´re gonna get mugged, bitten by a mosquito which has killed more than 60 people in the city ( dengue epidemic) or get a sexual disease or to be shot by a stray bullet ( more than 500 deaths so far).

This is a god damned place and I live here and take my word for it !!

A suggestion? Go to Bahia , that´s the best place to be

Bunker is a very popular club in Copacabana area, and there is a club in Lapa called Asa Branca which I like. If you go to www.brazzilbrief.com join the forums, and there is a lot of talk about good clubs. Have fun in Rio!
