Well when he/she gets into 1-8 you can go to www.funbrain.com and click on math games click new player and select grade and gender.

My child's favorite websites that are educational are: www.pbskids.org, which has educational games for each PBS cartoon.  The Between the Lions and Dragon Tales are especially good.  www. starfall.com is a wonderful website, and is actuallu used by a lot of elementary schools I've worked in.  It teaches phonics and reading skills.  You choose the level that is appropriate for the child, all the way from letter recognition to reading at upper levels.  My child can use this website for hours and not get bored, and as a former teacher I love the fact that it's the most educationally based website I've found so far.
