  1. Well, I can tell you from my experience. I worked several different types of jobs throughout my teenage life from grocery stores to fast food and even under the table jobs.

When I reached my college years I started working security (over night shift) and I found that the least stressful and one of the highest paying.  I was in a room monitoring cameras alone but this gave me the freedom and time to do what ever I needed to do in order to get through college.

I was able to do homework, make phone calls, surf the web, watch movies, eat, sleep, etc.. Obviously I also had my responsibilities in check and I knew when I can and can't get away with certain things.  I'm not saying all security jobs are like this and if you get one of these jobs you should take it seriously but it worked out for me. I was making $10 an hour and I've heard of security jobs starting at $12 with raises, paid time off and benefits, depending where your located.

If its only about the money your concerned with then you can also try selling products to friends, family and referrals through some of these companies that need door to door sales people. Your pay is generally based on commission  and obviously the harder you work and the more time and effort you put in the more money you can make. I must say though it can also be a tough job because you need to put your friends and family in a position to spend money that they might not have or might be on a tight budget for things they don't necessarily need, like a new water filter system lol.

Hope this helps and good luck with your search.

  2. well i know at cold stone creamery you can make up to $11 per hour, plus you all get to split the tips at the end of the day.
