Depends on what you mean by BEST.

We have some very fancy suburbs where you can pay over a thousand dollars a week, or some middle of the road places where the rent is more reasonable, say $280 to $300 for a 2-3 bedroom home with a bit of garden and garage.

"Western suburbs", i.e. any suburb that is along the Swan River west of East Perth or Applecross or along the beach from Leighton to Wembley Downs is usually where all the toffs live.

If you mean cheapest or best value for money that's a different story again.
