  1. DCU is excellent for any communication/media courses. It has a very good reputation A friend of mine has her degree in communications from there, and she didn't have anything bad to say about the place.

I don't know how friendly it is, but I went to UCD and didn't like it at all. It's too big, too anonymous and full of irritating girls. For tghings to do, Dublin is probably your best bet, which would include TCD also, but you should look into going to UCG or UCC either. UCC is beautiful.

  2. Limerick. It rocks!

  3. NUI Maynooth does media studies and is also known as the "friendly university". It has 50+ clubs and societies, the longest freshers of any university in the country and is increasing in first preference choices. It's the only university not in a city and students make up half the population of Maynooth so there are very few problems between residents and students. It has a large number of pubs and a nightclub and is about 40 minute bus from Dublin for anything else you want.

  4. you first need to know what you want to study.... why go into a classroom with a billion other ppl and it's crowed why not study online and its cheaper!!!!! there are a lot of uni website
