  1. The 'cool' places to be seen for young people (18-30 year olds) Subiaco, Cottesloe, Claremont & Scarborough

Timing for good weather is in March, April, then Sept, October. We're a friendly bunch so i'm sure you'll have a good time whenever you visit.

  2. If your looking for the places where the Newspaper goes to take pictures for the Social column, then you have to hang around the posh areas like Dalkieth, Nedlands, Claremont, Peppermint Grove, Mosman Park, City Beach, Applecross, Mount Pleasant, Bicton, and get invited to the swanking charity do's that all the rich and swanky people go to. There's usually a few every month. It'll cost a bit to go, but you get to wear your best gear and get photographed for the social columns with some of the big names and or their kids.

Otherwise hang around the club BayView in Claremont, or Captain Stirling in Nedlands but watch out for the fakes.

  3. Ok, the places you need to go....well there's Rottnest island(good for anything water, cycling, admiring the view, blue water and tanning), Fremantle(quirky little hippy suburb, with great cafes, pubs(Little Creatures), markets, and just a great city to be walking around in), River(walks, sunset), Kings Park, Adventure World is good if you have youngsters, there's wineries in the valley, and if you can afford to spend a few days in the south west, there is a lovely area with wineries as well...you can do a tour called 'wine for dudes', it's great!  There's this great little cafe which has fantastic potato something breakfast, and great juices, called Ba Ba Black in East Perth.  If you're here for the weekend, make sure you go to the beach early Sunday morning, then go for a Sunday session at the Cott(Cottesloe Beach Hotel I think...) if you're under 25, and the OBH if you're over....hahaha....Scarborough Beach and City Beach are beaut as well! you can rend scooters in fremantle for the day or a few days.  you can get bikes for rent on the esplanade, on the East end....there's always festivals and open air cinemas on the go as well.....

    ENJOY!

  4. Lol. No one goes to Perth to be 'seen'.

As for the right time - do you want to be seen looking sunburned and sweaty (Dec - Feb). Or wearing a cardigan and carrying an umbrella (May- Aug)?
