  1. White Castle

  2. I loveeee OC.. there are sooo many places, but I enjoy eating at Hooterss in anaheim and rainforest cafe at downtown disney.. there are some good restaurants in HB on main st. I go to El Ranchito mexican restaurant.. then afterwards, walk down to the pier..go shop on main st.. funn!

  3. DO NOT EAT RESTAURANTS!!!.

  4. taco bell

  5. Gotta go to Duke's right next to the pier... Its excellent. If you want some old fashioned hamburgers go to Ruby's which is at the end of the pier and has a fun atmosphere and great view....

  6. Duke's -- it's right on the main beach and pier area.  Burgers, salads, pizza, etc.  NIce Sunday brunch too.

Tsunami Sushi (in Seal beach, about 7 minutes away) for Benihana-style teppan.  Good bar scene there too.

  7. OMG - yes!!

Zubies Dry Dock is great..it's in HB (the calimari tacos are amazing - and the oysters rockefeller)

Crab Cooker - Newport Beach and Tustin( lobster, king crab claws, smoked albacore - center cut)

    Lucci's Deli - HB

Alberto's for  =) Mexican  (they're all over OC)

French Bistro - neare Goldenwest College

Georges - Edinger - HB  (wonderful for huevos rancheros before the gw college swap  meet)

ENJOY! - AND WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!

  8. Sadly enough Huntington Beach has become a place of chain restaurants.

Essentially Main Street at Pacific Coast Highway will have all of the restaurants with a beach atmosphere you are looking for. The rest of HB is rather conservative, boring and plain once you get away from the water.

You should visit neighboring Seal Beach (try Walt's Wharf and Angelo's Italian Deli )and Balboa (the Crab Cooker, a seafood joint) for some cool and unique places, but that's not what you asked for.

Probably the best view is Ruby's at the end of the pier. They have good burgers and shakes.  Duke's has good seafood and a great view in a nice setting, Captain Jack's has good prime rib and is a funky little seafood joint, Crabby's Boat House for chowder and Kona (formerly Sam's) if you want a Polynesian themed place with a show to eat at. On Sunday's they have a tiki theme party. Aloha Grill on Main Street is another Hawaiian restaurant worth checking out. They have very good rainbow striped rum beverages that sneak up on you. LaRocco's Pizzeria on Main is a good place for pizza. For lighter fare try Jan's Health Bar and Bodhi Tree Cafe, both on Main. TK is a shack that has good burgers. It has a patio covered in surf stickers. Hurricane's has good view of what is going on & so-so food, but quite frequently they charge $10 cover just to eat dinner.

Chimayo is a good place to eat and a bit more upscale.

For a funky place to get coffee, adult beverages, sandwiches and tea check out Monkey House Cafe. It's not on the beach, but it's cool.

Longboard Restaurant & Pub has outdoor patio dining on Main Street and it's fun to watch the people walk by, food is ok.

Secret Spot at Warner and PCH is a stoner surfer friendly spot that sometimes has tasty food.

  9. BJ's Restaurant.

Everything is good there. Especially the pizzas and pizookies.
