I'm looking to spend one night in Charlottetown, and one night in the Souris area in a hotel/motel/inn. I'm looking for recommednations for the best places to stay.

I've read all the tourism books, but they only include the really expensive places that have purchased ads. So, I thought I'd ask the anonymous public for their input.

I don't need a 5 star posh place, but at the same time, I'd like to find a place that meet at least the following criteria:

-Clean

-Safe

-Insect/rodent free

-Unable to hear neighbours' bed rocking all night

-Wireless Internet

-Close proximity to a breakfast place

And if it's an Inn, I'd like private(ensuite) bathrooms.

*If you don't know what Prince Edward Island is, you're probably not qualified to answer the question.

  1. Most places in PEI are very nice because the island depends so much on the tourism industry.  From the requirements you have listed most likely you will need to choose a chain hotel or motel - because of the wireless internet requirement.  Just about anywhere would meet all the other requirements.  Nowhere in PEI will be inexpensive in tourist season.  Quality Inn in Charlottetown will probably be less expensive than most of the others but might not have wireless internet.  You won't find a lot of choice in Souris, and also might not find wireless internet in the rooms, but here is a link to the town of Souris.  If you contact them they may be able to help you.
