Even you can visit Mahabaleshwar and Matheran in maharashtra.

These are all options in summer.

Pls take your time to select according to no. of days, budget and the places which you haven't visited yet.

  17. There are many places to visit in Summer.

South India - specially Karnatak, Kerela and Sea side places of Tamil Nadu  to name a few.

The Himalayan Areas - Himachal, Nainital, Darjeeling, Uttaranchal, also North East States are beautiful.

I could name all those places . Will take pages. India is so rich in Heritage as also in Beauty.

  18. I would defenitely suggest Nainital!

  19. A fantastic water fall have in Adarappilly, Trissur, Kerala and go to Munnar and Thekady. stay their one week and go to Kannyakumari the world's best place. Come back to Kochi stay their for 3 days. Then go to Nelliyampathi (Forest area). It is a wonderful place in the world. From their you can go to Otty, Mysore, Bangalore. You must be back through Chennai, Coimbatore, sholayar, Valpparai. Then come to Kochi and back to your country.

  20. The hill stations,  provided they are not packed with tourists.  Some of the sub Himalayan areas of Himachal / Uttaranchal / North East, and some lesser known areas of the Nilgiris may not be crowded.

If you can take the heat, head for the beaches - enjoy early mornings and after sunset. Snooze in the afternoon.  Lakshadweep uptil mid May is also a good destination.

Periyar Tiger Sanctuary at Thekkady in Kerala -  periyartigerreserve.org   - is an excellent destination in summer, for guaranteed wildlife sightings.  It is always pleasant due to the altitude, but may be crowded due to school vacation time.  Go on the guided jungle walks which are never crowded.  You will not be disappointed and for children especially, it is the thrill of a lifetime and so refreshingly different from the usual video game, computer game, TV etc indoor lifestyle.

  21. Maharashtra...epically west side ....Satata District....very nice Kokan area....do visit it...

  22. Summer is quite hoarse in India. Heat, dust, sweetting tells you to go to himalayas.

Simla, Manali, Darjiling and many such rich-natured places are there. cool, quit and nature.. nothing else!

You feel rejouvenited and start loving nature.

sea cost of India is fairly long but not so good in summer heat of 45*C . so, south indian destinations like chennai, kerala are not so enjoyable.

If you have a liking for being aloof, Naggar near Manali, kalimpong near darjiling shall prove best.

Those with religious inclination may find Badrinath, Kedarnath as nice outings.

Those with an instinct for adventure, I would recomend valley of flowers(near badrinath), manikarna near Kullu, manali-leh driving, & man-sarovar.

  23. wow..da summer..its going to be really HOT!!!

but dere r som many places u can go..make sure u go 2 taj mahal in agra

  24. Just anywhere in Punjab region

  25. Indian summers are very hot.. so please DO NOT VISIT Agra, Rajasthan etc. If you want to try some thing different... you can try Ganftok, the capital of Sikkim. You will love the place.. believe me.Also Laddakh is an extremely good option for summers. The season fr Ladkah starts in April & lasts uptill Aug.

  26. i think in summers obviously everybody want to go cold places so in india simla or kasauli is the best place or you should see the old temples of our goddess and if you want to see buildings than you have to go to see TAJ MAHAL

    ok wherever you go

    happy journey for you

  27. What is the purpose of your visit? If it is to move away from the heat and dust, go to the mighty Himalayas. But avoid commercial places like Simla, Massori, Darjeeling! Go to the interior of Himachal or Uttarachal. Himalayas are really enchanting. You are bound to be addicted to it.

If you wish to see the wildlife in India, summer is the best season to visit the sanctuaries like Jim Corbett Sanctuary in Uttarachal or the Bandhavgad sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh. You can also try the Sundarbans in West Bengal

  28. Manali in Himachal Pradesh

  29. during summer times u can visit the following states of india:

    1.) jammu and kasmir

    2.) himachal pradesh

    3.)uttarakhand

    4.)sikkim

    5.)west bengal(only north)

    6)meghalaya

    7.)mizoram

    8.)manipur

    9.)nagaland

    10.)arunachal pradesh

    11.)tripura

in all of the above states....average temperature varies 1 degree to 25 degree...

approx.. rest of india is hot during summer times..... so the best season for rest of india is when summers will b on end..

    wish u a happy journey....
