  1. When you come to Ireland, hire a car and drive around, the longest drive from one point to another is about 6 hours at the most, and each area in Ireland is different and has its own unique charms.

  2. Giant's Causeway, Bunratty Castle, Blarney Castle, The Burren, King John's Castle, The Dunbrody, Waterford Crystal, Cashel, Beehive Huts, and The Cliffs of Moher

  3. On the West coast is "Connemara" and the "Ring of Kerry" (popular with the yanks). You'll need a car to enjoy the scenary.

  4. I grew up there.  The south and south-west coast are beautiful and rugged.  Kinsale, 16 miles south of Cork city, is a quaint little  harbour town (overrun by tourists lately, and eating can be expensive), but picturesque and friendly.  Well worth a visit. Lots of history (Charles Fort), and cute stuff in the shops.  Old Head of Kinsale has the 2nd highest cliffs in Ireland (awsome!), and a VERY expensive golf course (Tiger plays there).  Go on around the coast thru Garrettstown, to Timoleague Abbey - look for the skull under the wall (my brother put it back, honest!!). Dunworly beach is lovely too.   You can drive all the way round the coast roads, do B&B overnights and see the Ring of Kerry, going thru Killarney - marvelous rugged rocks, heather, isolated beaches, shaggy sheep on the mountainside, and phenomenal food!  All this talk makes me want to go back there again this year....... :)

I do hope you get the chance to go.....it's worth every penny!  Tha go mait! (It's great!...in Irish).

  5. Dublin, mate. I went several times. In fact that's where I met my girl friend, mate. We have been dating for three years now.
