What are the best places to visit in goa?

I wanna know all the best spots that locals find interesting n love to go.I would also like to know what are the possible ways to reach that place.

  1. If it's the beaches you want, my favourites are Vagator and Ashwem in the north while it is Utorda and Benaulim in the south.

    If it's culture you want, then check out the churches of Old Goa and the temples not too far from there at Mangueshi.

    If it's some places off the beaten track then go to Arvalem waterfalls and rock cut temple cave nearby (north Goa), Ancestral Goa at Bigfoot, Loutolim (south Goa)

    If it's shopping you want, then it's Mapusa Friday market, Anjuna flea market on wednesday (very touristy with prices to match), Panjim and Margao.

    You can get to any of these places by taxi or with a rented bike or car.

    Anjuna Beach: Anjuna Beach is located about 18 km away from Panaji the capital of Goa

    Baga Beach:Baga Beach in Goa is a small fishing seashore with thickets of shady palm trees.Baga is actually an extension of Calangute beach.

    Bogmalo Beach:Situated about 8 km Nothwest Of Vasco Da Gama

    Colva: Colva beach is situated about 40 kms from Panaji

    Calangute Beach: just 15 km from Panajim

    Varca:Varca beach is situated 5km south of Benaulim in Goa

    Dona Paula beach: Seven kilometers west of the Indian state of Goa's capital Panjim

    Except beaches you can visit churches of Goa:

    Basilica of Bom Jesus, The Church of Our Lady of Rosary, The Rachol Seminary, The Se Cathedral , Church of St. Francis of Assisi

The best place  is the calangute beach where I have visited  "under the shade of Palam trees,bathes the queen of beaches. well you can do a lot of things over here the tourist attraction are the beaches, St. Alex church. Its located near the shore of the Arabian sea. its good to visit in winter season.The period from November to February are best to visit. Its very easy to rent a motor cycle or a moped over here. well you can do water skating &wind surfing inthe afternoon. The transportation is very good in Goa. if you are comeing by air then Dabolimis the nearest airport  & 29Km from Panjim &if by rail then Karmali is the nearest  &11km from Panjim well by road 10min from mapusan &30min from panjim.
