  1. Calpe

    teramitica-theme park

benidorm palace, great night out, went there at christmas...

They are the main 3 places i think. I'm out there all the time so if you need to know anything more, please e-mail me and ask :)

  2. 1st of all tell us what your interests are and then we can advise according to your likes.

Are you after the teenage /early 20´s party scene? Then Ibiza

Do you want to see classical Spain with a sense of history? Then Granada

Do you want to spend a week on the beach? Then La Manga

Do you want an all encompasing tour? Then take a hire car and do the following: Barcelona > Zaragoza > Pamplona > San Sebastian > Bilbao > Madrid > Valencia > Alicante > Murcia > Granada > Seville

Do you want History and culture with fine Dining and Nightlfe? then Madrid or to a lesser extent Barcelona.

Do you want to experience typical spanish life? Then take a "casa rural" for a week in Extremadura.

The beauty that is Spain is more in the differences between regions and cities than anything else. To my mind Spain is a conglomerate of countries bonded by the same language rather than a nation in its own right.

  3. I agree with Tequila Mike. I was in Spain 3yrs ago.

Madrid was ok, it's a lot like a downtown city.

NOBODY SPEAKS ENGLISH!  It was really hard to get a good meal, and the food is not very good at all.  Hope you have a good trip where ever you end up.

  4. Lots of good ideas on

  5. Madrid and Barcelona.

  6. Madrid (cool city) , San Sebastian (beautiful), South of Spain (arond the coast)

  7. I haven't been to Spain, yet, but I know that Madrid will be somewhere I will go for most of the time. I've heard that is has the best atmosphere, parties, fashion, food, etc. etc.

  8. The Alhambra in Granada and Gaudi's architecture and the Picasso museum in Barcelona are must-sees. Toledo and Seville I loved. But I don't know Spain too too well. Check YAHOO! and Google.

  9. The smaller cities like Toledo, Seville, Granada, Salamanca, Pamplona. They're small enough to spend two days in each and really get to know the Spanish way of life.

You must also stop at small villages for tapas, in fact, eat in tapas bars everywhere, it's wonderful.

I've been to every town/city in Spain, except Barcelona and Vigo, so I should know a bit.
