  1. Whole switzerland is beautiful but not as that of bhorban& aubia of pakistan

  2. zermatt is fantastic. with the klein matterhorn which is the highest viewing area in europe. gorgeous :-)

  3. There are so many beautiful places to visit.  Lugano is the best of Switzerland and Italy wrapped into one.  Then there is Gruyere which has a charming castle and village.  There is no better delicacy than a bowl of fruit and some of their special heavy cream.  In Geneva you can feel very international.  It's a faster paced city than some of the others.  In Neuchatel it's really nice to rent a boat and ride on the lake while admiring the beautiful homes on the lakeside.

  4. Lugano!

  5. I visited Switzerland over 17 years ago and it was a memorable week. One of my most intensely pleasureable events was a spontaneous one. We had gotten off the train in a small town, Schaffhausen. We meant to see the waterfall there that is supposed to be as fantastic as Niagara but smaller...anyway, we had bought some lovely bread and cheese, grapes and a few chestnuts and we climbed up this round building that had an open plaza at the top (2nd or 3rd story)...and as we approached the top, we were greeeted by a warm blast of brass music. A group was practicing for an event and were probably in their final dry run because their playing was just beautiful and continuous. So we spread out our little picnic on this sunny, breezy day and with the view of the waterfalls on one side and the music playing as if solely for our benefit...it was incredible.

So I guess I'm saying take the trains a lot. And stop in Schaffhausen.

  6. Hi there, May might be a good time to go to Switzerland... Interlaken and St. Moritz are great places to visit. I would also have a look at Luzern (close to Zurich, about 40 min by train) and if you have the time go to the Italian part of Switzerland, my favourite places are Lugano (bigger town) and Ascona (very charming, small, romantic place). It will take you about  3 hours from Zurich (if you like party, and shopping you have to go to Zurich as well).

  7. Zermatt, in S. Switzerland, is beautiful and very quaint.

No cars allowed, so you get around on foot, by bike,

horse and carriage, or golf cart.  Lots to see in the

    Lucerne area too.

  8. I answered the almost same question a few days ago. If you want an itinerary for Interlaken, therefore please visit here:

  10. Zurich Rocks

  11. Bern- Its the capitol of Switzerland also very historical with a cathedral named the Munster,  a bear pit, stone streets, and lots of Museums.

Zurich- Its right next to Lake Zurich which you can walk or swim in, there are also clothing and chocolate stores, and historical churches.

Jungfrau- A tall mountain in the Alps with an Ice Sculpture gallery in the mountain.  To get to the peak there is a train that goes in to the mountain.

Gruyere- A medieval town with a castle and a spectacular view of the Alps.  It also where the famous swiss cheese Gruyere originated (you should try it).

Neuchatel- Translated means New Castle.  There are three lakes that have a channel that connects all three of them so if you get tired of one lake you can rent a boat and go to another.

I hope you have fun in Switzerland like I did.  It really is a beautiful country.
