  1. Try Full Tilt!  I'm pretty sure most poker sites allow you to use exchange rates, just play with the settings a bit.  http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm

  2. You can use british pounds at Betfair, its a british company and they accept deposits in british pounds, also its one of the best poker sites. You can find a full review of it as well as other poker sites at http://www.bettingwise.hit.bg/Betfairpok...

  3. I can recommend you a  regulated and licensed online casino from UK:

  4. I've had this problem also.

Don't allow your bank to make the currency exchanges for you.

As they sell back $s for less than their worth you will lose about 13% of your winnings.

Ensure the poker site does the conversion for you.

    Mansion Poker

    Betfair

    Titan

    Pokerstars

will all do this for you.

Pokerstars you have to deposit using a debit card and they will make the conversion for you rather than your bank ripping you off.

If you really want to play at sites that don't have this option use money bookers they charge 1.5% both ways so you will lose a portion of your winnings but its nowhere near as much as your bank would charge you.

  5. Actually, with the US dollar in the toilet, it makes a lot of sense to play in US dollars these days.  You can buy a h**l of a lot of chips at a nice discount.

Realistically, I don't see the issue in using dollars on a site.  Despite the American anti-online gambling issue, most of the major sites still use dollars.  By searching out Sterling sites, you are greatly narrowing your choices.

Once you buy into a tournament, what difference does it make anyway?  If you play in cash games, just know that the dollar is worth about half what the pound is.

They accept UKSterling (Euros and USD too).

    And they have this promotion:
