What are the best practices for an Affiliate Site to be successful?

I am using CJ.Com for my affiliate program and was wanting to know if anyone has had positive results and what are the best and fastest ways to see results?

You need a central place to sell from, a blog will do. From blogger.com. The reason this is important is because you can build longterm traffic there and make its popularity very high. If your just doing random individual programs you have no way to really increase the profitability, only to a certain extent.

Build as many backlinks as you can, this is very very important. Backlinks on popular and relevant sites to yours. And secondly you should go to EzineArticles.com, Buzzle.com, or GoArticles.com and do some article marketing. If you don't know what that is you should learn its very important. With backlinking and article marketing combined and done well, it wont be long before you make some money.

Visit this blog below for more detailed guides on how to do all of this, starting from the very beginning. Its called the Marketier blog or something, its a good place to learn the details of stuff

Hi, CJ is ok but if you are just starting out you should start with www.clickbank.com which sells mostly ebooks which are easy to make sales with.

Affiliate Programs are the best options to make money online. But there are several affiliate programs which are scam and hence force the entrepreuner quit the attempts. I have come across an affiliate programs website which not only reviewed the top and best affiliate programs but have also shown the ways to get high and targetted traffic for free. I personally feel Traffic Exchanges are the best options I have used several of their programs, most have rocked, some didnt -- so overall, I say that they are safe to do business with and have good programs. Hi affiliate networks are almost all the same, I work with clickbank, the best way to sell affiliate network products is a content website. where you have a good valueable content for your targeted costumers, then within your articles make a suggestion or recomendation to the product, you can also put on the products as an ads on the side of the content.

Clickbank is good but I found a great site that only does a few products but has great returns. You will find it on TheInternet4TheNovice.info. I find that setting up a domain name for each product I sell is a good way of doing it. This covers up the affiliate address and looks more professional.
