  1. Garcia Mitchell 302 - buy it from ebay - all the Garcia Mitchell reels have been around for decades - why? They are reasonable and provide years of good times.

  2. daiwa is, to me the best reel for the prices

i wont name a specific reel because they are all really good

  3. the best is Abu Garcia Ambassadeur.they are different prices just depends on how much u wanna pay.

    Hope I Helped!

  4. SHIMANO!!!!!

i really like the shimano brand.

probably for you, i would recommend a sahara 2500.

i have the sahara 2500 and it works fine when fishing for bass and off the pier/surf fishing. The saharas are about $50-70.

They are relly great for the price!

    TIGHT LINES!

  5. I've had my Pflueger President for about 4 years now and it's still smooth as silk and I get out about twice a month.  I've been through a LOT of reels including Shimano, Abu, Johnson, Daiwa and I'm sold on the Pflueger's and Shimanos, but I would steer clear of the rest.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure about how it will hold up in saltwater.

  6. ABU GARCIA and BROWNING

  7. the reel i use is okuma epix efs-30. i have no problems in both salt and fresh water. its the smoothest i have ever used. it might be 10 or 20 dollars over 100 dollars. guaranteed no problems.
