cafe de journal , the skeff, and anton's cafe (which is on the father griffin road) are all excellent for lunch- i used to work at anton's and i miss the food a lot.

for evening, i love vina mara by the augustinian church (but it is very pricey, although they have an early menu that's more affordable), da tang noodle house, around the corner from ti na nog....and the little restaurant next to cafe de journal for evening meals are lovely.
