  1. Rainforest Cafe in the MGM Grand

  2. There are many good places in Vegas, and which one's are the best are really based on how much you want to spend. Vegas is a place that has everything for almost everyone.

You can find the cheapest meals up to the the most luxurious ones. There are restaurants with big-name chefs up there.

There's tons of buffets, many which offer very quality foods.

You can find any number of them online or in travel guides.

Not knowing how much you want to spend, you could start by checking out the hotels on the strip, looking into the buffets and restaurants they have.

If you haven't been to Vegas, you'll soon find out that it has so many things to do and see and EAT, that you would barely make a dent in it in one trip.

  3. In Las Vegas, you will probably want to go to the restaurants and buffets on the strip for sure, since not so many cities have the buffets Las Vegas has. They have almost everything you can think of. My personal favorite is Amore and Little Dumplings. Nothing big and famous, but it tastes great! Amore serves Chicago food! My fave is their pan pizza, the best pizza i have ever tasted! Little Dumplings is the best Chinese restaurant in the city.

  4. Emerils like someone else had mentioned is wonderful! If you have the time & money I'd suggest the tasting menu....I did it few years back and..well I still rave about it!

MESA Grill >Bobby Flay's place is another.

There are several (to say least) fine Italian restaurants @ the Venetian. If I'm ordering Italian I'm getting it there....rather than list them all here is the link:

Another one of my faves is Joe's Seafood @ the Forum shops. Although known for their Stone Crab I personally LOVE their scallops! Plus they make a mean spicy Bloody Mary!

  5. We love Cozymel's.  Some very unique south of the border recipes.  If you love seafood, try the Yucatan especial.  YUM  or the fish wrapped in banana leaf and steamed.

  6. My favorite is Rosemary's on West Sahara.

A great fine dining restaurant and a great value when compared to what you find on the strip.

Emerils Fish House is nice as well, expensive but nice.

On the strip we have some really great but really expensive ones.

I would look at the KNPR public radio site and check the reviews by  a gentlemen who really knows fine food.

  7. Can't go wrong with either of Emeril's restaurants.  There's Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at the MGM, Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian and the new Table 10 at the Palazzo.  I highly recommend any of them.

Any of the Wolfgang Pucks would be good too. Spago and Chinois at Caesar's Forums, Postrio at the Venetian and Trattoria del Lupo at Mandalay Bay

Also running are Joe's Stone Crab also at Caesar's Forum and the always supreme Mortons Steakhouse.

Edited to ad :  To the people who keep suggesting Lawry's Steakhouse - there is no such place.  It's LAWRY'S THE PRIME RIB  -  and there is a MORTONS STEAKHOUSE.  Two different restaurants.

  8. Lawry's Steak House.

  9. Lindo Michoacan for upscale mexican and Chapala's for close to authentic standard mexican.

  10. American- Lawry's Steak House.

Very good prime rib, very expensive though.

    Chinese- House of Joyful.

    Excellent chow fun, fairly expensive

    Mexican- Cafe Rio.

The food will have you l*****g your plate. Only open till 4 pm.

    Indian- Simosa Factory.

    Interesting food there. Expensive.

    Mediterranean- Paymon's Mediterranean Cafe.

My favorite out of all restaurants. Try the Athens fries as a side. Moderately expensive but definitely worth it.
