I am hoping to go and see Dirty Dancing in London's Aldwych Theatre and am trying to find out where the best seats are to watch the show. If you've been to see a show there, especially Dirty Dancing, where did you sit? Thanks x

  1. Well I haven't seen DD but I can HIGHLY recommend a little known site called Theatremonkey which is fantastic for checking seat locations.  I use it every time I'm about to book theatre tickets.  Here's the link to their Aldwych page:

It's mostly down to personal preference on which seats are the best. Some people like to be close to the action and prefer the Stalls, while others like to be able to see the whole stage and prefer the Dress/Royal Circle. I would advise you to avoid the Upper Circle if you possibly can; they are the cheapest seats for a reason, the actors tend not to look up that far and it can leave you feeling left-out.

Take a look at this webpage: http://www.theatremonkey.com/ALDWYCHbook...

There's a lot of information from people who have visited Aldwych Theatre on which seats are good value, have a restricted view, or are best avoided. I always consult these reviews when buying theatre tickets, the info is very comprehensive. Also don't forget, you get what you pay for!

    Good luck.
