  1. I have a league with empahsis on qbs:

    2 Qbs

    2RBs

    3WR

    1Te

    1Def

    1K

    5-6BN

    6pts for all tds

    no points for receptions

  2. I like the ESPN setup, 1 QB 2 RB 1RB/WR 2 WR 1TE 1 D/ST 1 K and 7 bench players with head to head points

  3. If you are in more than one league then I would suggest trying a keeper-league.  They are a blast!  If not go w/ head to head play.  All teams in one league keeps everything more fair as well.  I am a fan of a QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, DEF starting line-up and 8 on the bench.  Too many leagues have too much of an emphasis on RBs.  6 points for all TDs too.  1pt per 10 rush/rec.  1pt per 25 pass. etc.

  4. Me personally, I like to run football league as an "Auction" league.  In an auction league, everyone in the league has an equal shot at buying a player.  Every team will start with $240 and you simply auction off players until you fill up your roster.  This also gives HUGE payouts in keeper leagues...me personally, I like auctions for football.  ESPN just began running auction leagues if Yahoo does not.
