What are the best shoes for spinning?

I am looking for shoes for spin class does anyone know where I can get a cheap but comfortable pair?

I prefer road shoes for Look pedals and cleats.

The Looks lock you feet to bike much better than SPD.

I use both and like the Looks.

Using the Looks for a spinning class will require changing the pedals and installing your own.  Some health clubs will not OK this.

It depends on what pedals you are using. If you have flat pedals a simple pair of cross trainers is fine. If you need clipless, try looking at Nashbar.com or performancebike.com.  they are always having sales on shoes.

Remember, that the type of clips for clipless pedals vary, and some shoes can only handle one type of clip (e.g. SPD or Look). If you don't know what you need, go to your local bike shop, and they can help you.
