  1. The absolutely greatest volleyball shoes I ever owned in my career - and I have had quite a few - were Mizunos.  But the newer Adidas volleyball shoes are giving Mizunos a run for their money.  Asics were good, but I found them to be a bit on the heavy and hot side.

Try them on in the store, and then move in them like you would in a game.  Run a sprint or two; do some side steps, and side push offs.  If those shoes don't feel comfortable right out of the box, then you will regret buying them.  If you have any doubts, don't buy them.  I made that mistake, and paid dearly in the way of blisters and sores.  Now, I make sure those shoes are the most comfortable shoes right in the store, with no shifting of my feet, and no pressure points at all.

If you don't like them in the store, you will not like them on the court.  Make sure you are completely happy before you leave - they will not return used shoes.

  2. I have to say that the all time best shoes for volleyball are Asics newer kinds, make sure that they are approved for use on courts because there are several different kinds, i absolutely love them!!!!

  3. I would have to agree and say mizuno but I know people that say that mizunos hurt their feet.  You just have to try some and find out which work for you.  Nikes kill my feet but others love them.  I would go with either mizuno or asics...I think they have a better selection.

  4. in my opinion, the best volleyball shoes are mizunos.

  5. the best shoe's for V-ball r here:)

    PS:I LUV V-BALL

  6. Well, I myself prefer oasics shoes. (Pronounced ace-sicks) They have a good sole and keep your ankles steady. Other good shoes are Mizuno. But make sure when you buy them they say they are volleyball shoes.

  7. well i luv my shoes which are......mizuno's! idk i luv them they are really really light weight....they still smell good after a whole season of use, and they are really cute! They can be expensive but they can be ok priced to it depends!

  8. I love my mizunos!

you want a shoes that is mad for gripping the court... hence the name court shoes.

since volleyball requires you to stay on your toes all the time you want allot of support in the toe area.
