As a rule of thumb, any shoe that is made by the same brand as a tennis racket is good for tennis. Also, if you are looking into buying a less expensive shoe, make sure that the shoe has a pivot point, which is a small circle on the bottom of the shoe just under the big toe. This is where your weight will be when you are serving, and if the pivot point is not present, the bottom of your shoe will get all torn up. But the most important part of any tennis shoe is comfort. If your feet hurt while you are playing tennis, it will hurt your game. It is impossible to play your best game in uncomfortable shoes.

I prefer Reebok. I've wider feet so Reebok feels extremely comfortable.

tennis shoes... but if you can't afford to buy a pair, you may use your running shoes, or walking shoes... but never use your high-heeled shoes...

try the nike air max smash there only 80 making them a cheap and great tennis shoe but if you looking to spend a little more try the nike breath cage

any tennis shoes would work preferably with out a black sole because if you play tournaments, some courts don't allow blacksoled shoes because they make marks on the court.

also, when you try fitting the shoes make sure it dosnt hurt your ankles and gives you enough support.
