What are the best pack of sketching pencils that are fairly cheap that you can buy at Staples Business Depot?

I don't think you can buy sketching pencils at Staples or a Business Depot.  They will only have writing pencils.  If you want pencils for art and drawing you will need to go to an art or supply store.  Maybe Michael's?  There is a huge difference in a regular pencil for writing and one that is used for drawing and sketching.  Once in an are supply store there will be many choices also.  Depending on what you are using them for and the type of are you are creating.  There are different degrees of softness and smug-ability if you will.  If you are serious about your art work and do it a lot it is well worth your investment to buy the right pencils they will make all the difference in the world and you will see how much better your work comes out in the end because you have the proper tools.

You can buy drawing pencils at the Staples  outlets in my area. Prismacolor makes a good brand and so does Crayola.
