What are the best snacking olives?

I'm designing a vegetable antipasti style snack plate for my cafe, like the ones whole foods sells, and I was wondering what the best hight quality snacking olives are.

are you serious ,,?? your doing a snack plate,, you want several varieties.. make sure your waitress make a comment about the olives and try to get feed back,, also check what is NOT eaten..

that really is more what is available. until you know what your customers like.. and good lord there must be hundreds. and don't forget Kosher,, Greek,, Italian and - - and  

There is a lazy susan tray with small dishes that the Asians use for their dips ...???

You might do a appetizer bar and let them select..??  Maybe even a small cart the waitress brings to the table..??

Are you sure about that Whole Foods thing..??

Have you ask for the manager.. you might get a discount..

I tried some fresh olives over in Spain that were packed in olive oil, but I have no clue where to find them in the US. I would look around some of the higher end grocery stores in the deli sections and see what you can find.

I would say you can go for almond stuffed green olives.

Try kalamata, green with the pits in, brine cured and maybe either

blue cheese or garlic stuffed.

Ask the guy at the Whole Foods deli to give you recommendations, based on what your antipasti plates contain.  While a great many olives are wonderful for snacking, not every olive is going to be complementary to your other antipasti ingredients.  Think of it like matching wine with food!  A white might not mesh well with beef, but a good red would do the trick!  Same thing with your antipasti.
