  1. Mt. Hood and Hood River. Hood River is a great town to live in with lots of sports available year round. The Columbia River Gorge (where Hood River is located) is a National Scenic Area. There are over 300 miles of hiking trails, world class kayaking (The White Salmon River for example), kite boarding & windsurfing, mountain biking, etc. Mt. Hood has the longest season in the USA (Timberline was open until Aug/Sept last year). We have bald eagles, Osprey, Cougars, bears, deer, elk, etc. I've lived in the area most of my life, and can't think of any reason to leave. Come to visit. Likely you will fall in love with the area as many, many people have.

  2. I live in Vancouver. I have 3 mountains within 30 minutes of my house and Whistler/Blackcomb an hour and a half away. I would be tempted to say I live in one of the best snowboarding communities in the world and I don't think many people would disagree.

  3. tahoe ca.

    many pros live here

  4. Mt.Hood, Oregon is pretty amazing.

  5. i dont disagree. whistler, bc.
