  1. carfax report.

don't tell them you absolutely love the car. they'll continue to call. (try to avoid giving your number, just get their card) just say you're shopping around to get an idea.

&& look around at other dealerships.

i do this every 6-9 months.

  2. Keep in mind the mileage and the years, for example if it's a 2 yr old car and has 40k miles, something is wrong there, in general ppl only drive about 10k per year. Get a carfax history report (carfax.com) to see how many owners accident etc. it's had, (dealers have to give them for free if you request it). If it was a rental don't get it, people drive those things into the ground. How many miles to the gallon? If you're buying from a private party, check out www.kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book)  to see what the selling price should be. Kelly Blue Book also has statistics and ratings in reliability, comfort, and safety.

  3. you should ask how my mph it get if it has a v6 or v8 what year is it if it has had any prombems and take it to get look at by a carshop before buying. AND DONT gET JEEP DODGE ARE CHRYESTLER. i have had nothing but bad experinces from them. HONDA AND TOYOTA ARE GREAT i have had no problems with them at all
