What are the best strength builders in ballet?

i did ballet from grade 3 to 4 and ive picked it up again for the past 2 years im 13 now and i would like to know some positions that can build my ankle and leg muscles more. so i can have the ability to do more and feel more confindent in approching pointe?

  1. To build leg muscles etc. just practice the exercises you learn in class, do lots and lots of releves, try and hold your retires, practice 'writing the alphabet' with your feet, get a theraband. Releves work wonders though.


  2. to achieve more strength in your legs practice ballet everyday at least do the barre rond de jombe is very important relives are most important do 50 two times a day and your teacher will help you if you ask him/her about it good luck wish me luck too my ballet starts in 1 week 5 days p.s you probably know this but youtube.com is great for looking up ballet and stretches =^..^=
