  1. Try Dhaba at the Spice Kitchen, 242 Kensington Road, Marryatville, Ph:  (08) 8431 4288.  Very good food.  Great atmosphere.

The Snake Charmer, 60 Unley Road, Unley, Ph:  (08) 8272 2624 has a very good reputation.  I've also heard that the Bombay Bicycle Club, 29 Torrens Road, Ovingham, Ph:  (08) 8269 4455 is very good.

If you'd like to try something a little different from Indian food I can recommend Namaste, 41 George Street, Parkside, Ph:  (08) 8272 2288.  It's a Nepalese restaurant.  The food is wonderful, spicy and aromatic like Indian food but with subtle differences.  The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices reasonable.

    Enjoy.

  2. Tell me also I did not go there

  3. Dhaba at the Spice Kitchen

  4. Shankars South Indian Cuisine at Prospect.

    Good food and good company

  5. There's a great one called JASMINE

Here's a copy of a review of restaaurant.  My ex BF use to work there

Adelaide's oldest and best-loved Indian restaurant, established over 20 years ago and still run by the Singh family. With the restaurant set underground, the dining area is very intimate and just amazing - soft music, warm colours, wood finishes and muted lighting create a very comfortable (might even say romantic) atmosphere. In summer you can eat outside too.

No joke, everything on the menu is probably the best Indian food you've ever eaten. Their lamb korma is spectacular, the lentil dahl is delicious, their samosas are hand made with home made pastry, the prawn sambal is to die for and for those who like it VERY VERY hot - the chicken tindaloo. Must be tasted to be believed.
