What are the best things to do in Cancun with a 9 and 10 year old?

We are going to Cancun next month and want to know the "MUST DO's". I want to take them snorkeling and swimming with dolphins but not sure where the best places are. Also, looking for other ideas... THANKS!

The best place I recommend you to go snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins is Isla Mujeres. I went to Isla Mujeres with my family in 2006 we had a blast. i'm pretty sure you will like it too. there when you snorkel there wont be a guide. isla mujeres stands for Island of the Women.

  Here are other ideas: Xpu-ha for this u will have to rent a car. Xpu-ha looks like a jungle at first then when you walk a little farther you will see pools they have this type of little water slide thing there just made for kids but adults are aloud to go on but more especially for kids.

   Another place I recommend you visit is Playa Car short for Playa del Carmen. Here they have a pool and a beach. they also have a restaurant that is right next door to playa Car. You will also need a car to get to Playa Car. I really recommend it.

  

     If you want more activities depending on where your staying at you could ask someone that works there what they recommend you should do around your resort.

We stayed to the south in Playa del Carmen. Nice little town. Found Trip Advisor a helpful website when planning things to do. Best excursion was Hidden Worlds. Loved everything about it. Ruins in Tulum nice. Beautiful beaches great reef snorkeling.
