  1. Go Zzzzzzzzzz.................................

  2. sleep, read a book, listen to music, crosswords, word finds

  3. Sleep and listen to music.

  4. read a book. write a letter. chat up the person next to you (but don't be annoying). take a nap

crossword puzzles. hand held video game (like Gameboy-but sound off so you don't disturb other passengers). enjoy the view if you have a window seat.

  5. The kids behind me went with teaching my ten-year-old drinking games.

Reading, but please don't expect everyone to be quiet so you can.

Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, watch the movie, talk to your neighbour.

  6. Sleep

  7. Work!  Plane time is three times more productive than office time.

  8. best thing if you can is to sleep

  9. You should bring something with you to keep you amused

  10. Sleep.......depending on how many times zones you will be crossing...sleeping on the plane helps ease "jet lag". Bring a book to read and an iPod to listen to some soft soothing music to help you drift off to dreamland.

  11. I always take a notebook along with me and work on planning any big projects while I listen to music. Right now I'm planning my wedding, but I've used flight time to plan everything from papers I'm working on to my Christmas shopping list. And it's easy enough to take breaks and watch the inflight movie.

  12. The best flight I had was after getting drunk in Bahrain airport then taking some antihistamines when I got on the plane. When I woke up we were over London. Nice.

  13. For health reasons (thrombosis) you should walk around and strach now and then, otherwise a crossword, wordfind, or some good readin material, or an ipod never hurt

  14. Take a book and/or magazines to read.  Take your MP3 player and headphones.  Some airlines , like American, have free movies if you have your own headphones, other you pay a fee.  Plan to get up and walk around about every hour or two to keep from getting blood clots and to ease stiffness.  Take  a nap if you can.

  15. join the mile high club

  16. Assembling flat pack furniture can be quite interesting.

  17. Snore, wiggle around in your chair, leave your seat 10 times if your at a window, take ages in the loo and laugh at all the jokes on the tv with your ear phones on.

    Well every other f*cker does!!!!!!

  18. To avoid deep vein thrombosis just make sure you walk around at least every two hours.

Last year I flew to Australia and I watched a movie on my personal TV and the rest of the time I slept and the time just flew by.  If you can't get to sleep read a good magazine, newspaper or even better take a long book.

Remember to keep yourself active though.  Stretch your legs in your seat and keep moving your feet around.

  19. take a portable dvd player and watch your fave movies or tv shows. the time will fly by

  20. Make new friends. Special friends. Friends with benefits.

  21. Buy a book with a subject that interests you, listen to music, have a nap, get a word puzzle book, buy a manicure set and do your nails

  22. talk and make friends with the person sitting next to you

    read a good book

do homework or anything related to your current occupation

read newspapers and get in touch with what's happening NOW.

if your airline has free tv on each seat, then you can watch movies, news, or comedy skits

you can bring dvd player and watch your own movies

bring a mini video game if your into that stuff

bring playing cards if your into that stuff too and play games or peform magic tricks (i did magic tricks to the flight attendants once)

go to sleep and plan to sleep on the middle of the flight so your not so bored

bring chewing gum, and chew gum on take off and landing to avoid the reaction from your ear drums to the air pressure

bring drinks to stay hydrated and moisturized during the flight

bring eye droppers if your wearing contact lenses.

always bring more than like 2 magazines so your not bored

bring a small pillow if you have one

what i find very helpful is the use of those eye covers? i don't know if thats what you call them but you put them around your head and they cover your eyes so you can sleep easily

look through their shopping catalog, its always fun and passes time

always move your feet and walk a little bit so your knees and legs dont get tired and you keep your blood circulating

bring music because it seriously passes time

dress smart by dressing in layers so if its hot, you can take a jacket or sweater off, and if its cold, you have one to put on

don't wear sneakers that are kind of tight

i dont know what else to say, but i've been traveling the world all my life so i know these things first hand

    hope this helped!

  23. Avoid alcoholic drinks and go easy on the caffeine on the flight, even if they're free. Drink plenty of water if you can. Then you'll sleep better and relax easier.

Take some cheap noise cancelling headphones (try Maplin) or you won't hear your music unless it's loud. If you go posh, you might be able to rent the dvd player plack and they come with noise cancelling headsets too. You can check this with the airline.

If you are under 7 stone and shorter than 4'6", you will surely have a wonderful flight, otherwise ask for the wing seats. If you're going first class, ignore the above, as you'll no doubt have a 42" plasma to watch from your full-length bed next to the bar.

  24. look out the window
