It sounds dull, but its a great time to read a good book.

it depends how long a flight it is:

a) reading (magazine or newspaper for a short flight, a big book for a long one)

b) sleep (wear the face mask and use the ear plugs)

c) watch the movies provided

d) play on a hand held game console (PSP/gameboy/etc)

e) listen to an audio book on your iPod/MP3 player/CD player

f) listen to music provided or on your iPod/MP3 player/CD player

g) work - if you are in business class and have room that is!

Take photos of the view out the window but you have to put the lense right against the glass otherwise you will get reflections from the flash.

Just depends on what you like to do...

read, watch a movie or 2 or 3, listen to an ipod, sleep, enjoy the view out the window, work on your laptop, etc etc.

Well basically what Paul H said, but I was on a plane for basically over 20 hrs and the inflight movies if you have em are really cool or music.

If not bring a portable dvd player and a few movies depending on how long the flight is, also if u have an MP3 player like an iPod that comes in handy.

Hey magazines are cool or a book if you like to read.

If you have any studying to do for school or something you've been wanting to learn you could bring something along to do that.

Maybe a handheld game, like checkers or something if you like that.

There's sleeping too, but if you are like me, its difficult to stay asleep on a plane or in cars.

In my mind there's plenty to be able to do, either fun or serious on a plane.
