What are the best things to do/see between Dublin to Giant's Causeway to Achill Island?

We're Americans going on vacation in Ireland. We heard we should see Giant's Causeway, but most of the locations we plan to visit are in Southern Ireland. So we're trying to figure out what else is in northern Ireland to make the trip to Bushmills worth it. We're mostly interested in experiencing the culture and sightseeing. Thank you in advance.

Hi guys.
My mame is Voula from the beautiful Greece and i will be in September 18th until 21th in the beautiful Dublin with my friend Christiana for a Conference EDTNA-ERCA.So as you can understand i m very interesting of doing two day trip except the sights that dublin has.
From what i have read until now is Wiclow with gardens and lake Bray,belfast but i dont know if it has something to see.I love to see falls.
I would be grateful if someone inform me about what to see (still i believe that the Carrickared is the best because i love to do extreme things)how i can go to this bridge we will not have a car.Is there any train or should choose to go as a group from a travel agency?How many hours will take this trip if we will do it alone??????
