What are the best things to see in Belize?

My fiance and I are thinking about going to Belize to get married. We were thinking about taking a cruise. We would really like to see the mayan ruins.

You should also make a point of seeing the beautiful waterfalls, the tall coconut trees, try water rafting if you can and just enjoy the overall beauty!

I was just in Belize back in July, and went cave tubing. That was the greatest shore excursion ever on a cruise. I heard from someone that the Mayan ruins there aren't that spectacular. But that was only one person's opinion, not my own.
