Oh, NOW I get it.  I'll have to admit that I had no idea what a "car boot sale" was, I popped over because you're one of my contacts.  :)    Now, I remember that the Brits call the back section compartment of a car "the boot", what we Americans call the "trunk".

My advice?  Sell some sort of tasty snack that men like to eat and enjoy, something that will keep them happy and talking to other men while their wives are out spending money.  You'll make a lot of money, and the other boot sellers will love you too.
