What are the best tires on a vehicle?

Michelins tend to last for the life of most cars and get the best ratings in speed, temperature, etc.  Goodyears (and BF Goodrich, which is made by Goodyear) also score high and will last for 50k.

Definitely Michelin. They seem expensive to buy compared to others, but over time they work out the same or cheaper, as they wear very well.

The other advantage is, that when new, the ride is noticeably much better

well you can buy michelins. they are great. But if you have custom rims you might wanna go with pirelli. But for stock rims or not low profile tires i'd go with michelins
