What are the best tires to buy for winter in the snow?

I always get stuck in the snow my tires are small hoping to get a car soon can't decide what kind yet.

where do u live? go to tirerack.com or discount tire.com and study up... my better has subaru all wheel drive and NEVER gets stuck even in 4/5 inches of snow

buy any brand you like  as long as they are real winter tires, i prefer studded winter tires, but they aren't legal in all jurisdictions
