what are the best type of condoms ?

im not talking about brands. i always use trojans spermicidal, but i heard spermicidal condoms are bad for you.. i wanted to know if this is true, and what are the best type of condoms.. thankx

Depends on your goal.  If you are worried about pregnancy only and you are not at all concerned about STIs, then spermicidal condoms are just fine.

If you are concerned about STIs, especially the spread of HIV, then stay away from condoms with nonoxynol 9.  In studies, although nonoxynol 9 kills HIV in a lab, in real life tests it can irritate the lining of the v****a and facilitate the spread of the virus.
