What are the best type of hockey skates, is there a preferred skate by the pros?

The ones that are the best are the ones that fit you best. All the major brands make great skates- CCM, Bauer, Easton and RBK.

However, the ones used by about 70% of the NHL are Bauer. Draw what conclusions you will.
