What are the best universities for a typical american experience for someone from the uk?

Any university in the following States will get you a lot of sun;

Florida - (University of Florida and Florida State),

California - (U.C. USC, UCLA)

Texas - (UT, A&M)

Arizona - (University of Arizona, Arizona State)

Then there are states in the deep south; Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi etc.

University of Florida? Its obviously sunny and is the second largest university in the US, so I think it would fit. I attend Michigan State University which is pretty fun. There are a lot of diverse political views here, it gets kind of crazy sometimes (not to mention the parties).
