  1. The two systems that I have looked at for outdoor play (grass/sand) are the Cobra and the Park & Sun Spectrum Classic.

The main difference between the two is the method for holding the net poles up.

The Park & Sun uses guy lines.  These make for a very quick installation and break down.  You do have to be careful of the guy lines especially in very recreational play where players are often not aware of where they are and can take out the entire net.  This system runs about $300 including shipping from retailers like amazon.com.  Park & Sun does offer some slightly less expensive and slightly lesser quality systems.

The cobra system has you drive these large spikes into the ground at an angle pointing away from where the other pole will go.  You then pull on a rope attached to the net to draw the net tight. It uses no guy lines but only the tension of the net and these big spikes to hold the net in place.  It's pretty neat.  The only real issue I have with it is that you need to be fairly strong and have a sledge hammer to install the system.  If you live in a rocky area, you may have to try a few places before you find one where you can drive your spike into the ground without finding a rock.  I believe their site is cobravolleybal.com

Overall, both systems are high quality and will give you years of play.
