  1. Wholesale chains also may sell discounted lift tickets.  BJ's, Sam's Club, Costco, etc.

  2. I haven't tried here, but I've seen this in magazine articles.

    www.liftopia.com

  3. Anytime is a good time. I am ALWAYS on the prowl for comps and 2-fors....Full Price = Fool Price!!

Many resorts have deal and discount info right on their webpages in the "Events" or "Deals" section. These are usually special things like "$5 day at Sugarbush, VT" and all you need to do is show up with cash in hand. No pre-purchase involved.

Multi-day tickets are usually a good deal as well if you plan to spend a whole week at one place. Some places make you book way ahead of time and will slap you with a cancellation fee if you back out.

Personally, I try to score my comps and discounts early on in the season and then build my trip around what I have. Last year I scored comps for Killington and Mt.Snow. I built that around rollback day at Mad River Glen and skied for 3 days for about $26.50...total. I went mid-week and saved on my hotel, got 3 nites for the price of 2. So breakfast, lodging and skiing for 3 days cost me about $106 not counting gasoline, beer, and dinner.

    Good Luck...Have Fun.
