What are the best ways to catch insects in your yard?

But the best is the organic way as i said in your other question

If you want plants ,trees and a healthy soil there are many insects that are needed.

do not use chemicals it is a danger to humans that live near you as well as your own family,.lung problems ,deformed babies ,and a whole range of other effects are related to water contaminated with insecticides

why would you want to catch it? it will be better if you hunt and catch eggs of the insect instead of the adult insect. that is what other scientists do so that they can fully observe the life span of insects they catch

Either a butterfly net, or the following method:

Spread a white sheet under part of a tree. Using whatever you can, vigorously shake the branches of the tree over the sheet. If you shake hard enough, various creatures will fall from the tree onto the white sheet, making them easy to observe and identify. This works much better if you fumigate the tree with an insecticide, but I wouldn't recommend that for the garden.

With a bug light they will be attracted and get them selves zapped

Insect Net? or perhaps a trap or camouflage... or perhaps be shino(naruto) and you can call the bugs to you.

Have a goodly supply of spiders and wasps. they will take care of catching them.
