  1. Here is a wonderful website with specific choices like grilled, au jus, etc.

    http://www.winewebcentral.com/winepairin...

  2. Traditional answer - White wines with white meats and cream sauces, red wines with read meats and tomato sauces.

Reality's answer - Drink what tastes good to you. If you prefer white...then drink it. The traditional answer is just a suggestion to match-up wines with food that will accent it and vice versa, but what is the point if you personally prefer something different?

  3. beef, pork :definitely red wine

    seafood: definitely white

    chicken: try a rose wine

  4. It's true that you should drink wines that you like.  However, some wines will actually enhance the flavor of the food.  For some basic wine pairing info go to:

    http://www.cheers2wine.com/food-and-wine...

This site has lots of wines with food recommendations.  You will also find a link to a great book on pairing food and wine by Andrew Dornenburg....it's the best book I've seen on the subject and I refer to it often.

  5. its actually really simple:

dark meats, dark wines like cabs and merlot

light/white meats, lite/white wines like chardoney
