Question:

What are the best/ worst laser hair removal places in Pasadena, CA area?

I want to get the procedure done, and would really really appreciate some tips on where to go or not to go. Are there any really bad places I should avoid? Horror stories? Compliments? Bad or good features to keep an eye out for? Good places you can recommend and why?

I care about cost but not too much, and mostly want safe, excellent service. Right now I've heard I should get a place with an MD, and with a 'guarantee' of results.

I would really like somewhere in or close to Pasadena. (Though I may be able to make LA area and Orange County/ Irvine places work too...)

Personal experience would of course be much appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Before venturing into laser hair removal, you should follow the advice of Consumer Reports which states:

"Lasers and electrolysis permanently remove hair by destroying the follicles. But they’re costly and time-consuming, and should be done only by licensed practitioners. Even then, they can sometimes darken, lighten, or scar the skin."

Unfortunately, there are any number of blogs from dissatisfied customers who claim that "due to normal hormonal replacement within the body, hair growth is continuous" and any attempts to remove hair growth permanently -- does not work and is "a waste of money."

    Good luck!

  2. Laser hair removal worked great for me.   If you want to see good and bad providers in your area, go to http://www.SignatureForum.com .   They list ratings based on in depth surveys with real customers of the various providers.

    Good luck.
