Most of Russia's aircraft manufacturers have been unified into a company called United Aircraft Corporation.

UAC has been formed by merging several manufacturers and design bureaus. The major manufacturers of civil aircraft included in UAC are Sukhoi, Irkut, and Ilyushin. Tupolev and Beriev are design bureaus but do not manufacture aircraft.
