What are the braking distances on the highway code?

I used to remember them but now i have forgotten and don't have access to a highway code anymore. Thank you.

  5. OK, you need to know them for your driving test, if that's why you're asking, but these days they're complete nonsense. Ant half decent car from the last 10 years or so will stop well inside the distances given on the Highway Code, a modern high performance car like a Porsche or even a BMW will will stop in half the distance shown.

    Bear in mind that the thinking distance depends entirely on the driver, and remains pretty much the same.
